Product Description
Runs a 4K HDMI signal up to 120 metres over a single Cat6 cable, replacing long or costly HDMI runs with one point-to-point network cable.
For installers this is a distance problem solved cheaply: rather than fishing an active HDMI cable through ducting or ceiling voids, you run one Cat6 cable between a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter (TX) connects to the HDMI source — media player, PC, Blu-ray player, satellite box or signage controller. The receiver (RX) connects to the 4K display, projector or monitor at the far end.
Key specs
- Video/audio: 4K HDMI with digital audio over a single cable
- Max reach: 120 metres (400ft)
- Cabling: pure-copper Cat6 required for the full 120m reach; Cat6a recommended for best performance
- Topology: point-to-point only — no network switch between TX and RX
- Setup: plug-and-play, no drivers or configuration
Where it fits
Suited to jobs where the source equipment needs to sit well away from the screen: control rooms feeding remote monitors, signage controllers behind the wall from a display, conference and lecture theatre AV racks, or retail and hospitality installs where cable routing over 15-20m of standard HDMI isn't practical.
Box contents
One transmitter, one receiver, two power adapters and a user manual — enough for a single point-to-point run per kit.
Confirm your cable run is genuine pure-copper Cat6 (or Cat6a) before specifying this for a 120m job — budget or CCA cable will shorten the usable reach.
