The core of the range is PoE switching. Options span from a 5-port Fast Ethernet PoE switch rated for long-range runs up to 300m, through 4-port and 16-port managed PoE switches, up to a 16-port managed switch delivering 240W total PoE budget. Choice here depends on camera count, power draw per camera, and whether VLAN segmentation or managed features are needed for the site.

For sites where running new cable is impractical, powerline and wireless options extend a network without trunking: a Powerline WiFi kit for indoor extension, and an outdoor 5GHz CPE bridge for point-to-point links between buildings.
