How long does approval take?

As a rule, a trade application is reviewed within one working day. A credit-account application is different: the decision comes after a credit check, and after your trade references have been taken up.

Is a VAT number required?

No. Opening a trade account does not require a VAT number; should you apply for credit terms at a later stage, the credit application is where it can be added.

Is it possible to buy without a trade account?

Trade prices are shown only to trade accounts that are logged in, so without an account, neither prices nor ordering are available on this site.

Are projects and bulk orders priced?

Yes. If you send the specification or bill of materials, we quote it as one package: quantity brings better pricing, and the quote is one you can pass on to your end customer after adding your own margin. From there, the trade desk stays with the project until it is commissioned.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Card, BACS and bank transfer are available on every account. Credit terms can follow on approval; they are set for each account individually, subject to a credit check.

Is delivery available outside the UK mainland?

We despatch to UK addresses only. For Northern Ireland and for the Highlands and Islands, carriage is quoted separately when you ask.

Are credit accounts available?

Yes. Credit terms are applied for through the credit application, which opens to you once your trade account has been approved, with the terms set for each account in light of the trade references you supply and a credit check.

How does warranty work?

Each line comes with its warranty, and RMAs stay in-house with our UK support team instead of being passed back to the brand. In practice, that means you deal with us rather than with a brand’s returns desk.

How is a faulty product returned?

Start with an RMA: raise one in the dashboard of your trade account or email [email protected]. After that, we collect the item, test it, and replace or credit it within 5 working days.

Is training offered?

Yes. Free product training is open to trade-account holders, covering Axis, Paxton, Dahua, Ajax and Uniview.

Can more than one delivery address be set up?

Yes. A trade account supports several ship-to addresses, which you can add in your dashboard once the account is approved.

Who the trade account is for

A Euro CCTV trade account is for UK installers and integrators who buy CCTV and security equipment as part of their work. It covers cameras, recorders, storage, intrusion, networking, cable and accessories from one supplier. The store supplies the trade only, so it is not set up for consumer purchases.

What an approved account includes

Live trade pricing on every line once you are signed in. Guests never see prices, and your account pricing is your own.
A dedicated account manager you can contact directly about stock, quotes and project support.
Project and bulk quotes, built from your account dashboard or from a specification you send us.
Access to the kit builder for putting together CCTV systems.
Trade-only email updates covering new product drops, stock alerts and technical bulletins. These go only to trade-account holders.

How quotes and bulk orders work

For a larger job, send us the specification or bill of materials with quantities, or build a quote from your account dashboard. We price it as a package, with better pricing for quantity than list. The quote is laid out so you can hand it on to your customer with your own mark-up applied.

Technical support

The trade desk supports quoted projects through to commissioning. If you are extending or replacing part of an existing system, send us the recorder or system model numbers and we will confirm which cameras and accessories fit. Datasheets and manuals are attached to product pages wherever the manufacturer publishes them, so you can check specifications before you order.

Can I see prices without a trade account?

No. Prices are visible only to logged-in, approved trade accounts. Without an account you cannot view pricing or place orders on this site.

Can I buy as a member of the public?

No. This store supplies the trade. If you are a private buyer, reach out to our team and they will direct you to the correct option for your needs.

Do you price projects and bulk orders?

Yes. Send the specification or bill of materials and we quote it as a package, with better pricing on quantity. You can pass the quote to your end customer with your own margin added.
