Points to check before you specify
- Resolution: 1080p at 60Hz. There is no 4K support.
- Cable: Cat5e or Cat6, one cable between the two units. Cat6 pure-copper cable is recommended for best performance.
- Audio: DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, DTS and Dolby Digital.
- EDID copy: helps the kit match the connected TV, monitor or projector.
- Power: each unit has its own 5V adapter, so allow a power point at both ends.
- No IR pass-through: remote control signals do not travel between the units.
- Setup: plug-and-play, with no software, drivers or network switch.
