UK Power Plugs & CCTV Adapters

Power supplies for CCTV installations

This range covers the electrical side of a camera installation: single-camera PSUs, multi-way distribution boxes, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and standalone batteries.

What's in the range

• Single-output adapters — e.g. 12V 1.5A and 12V 3A units, including a 4-way splitter version, for one or a few cameras on short runs.
• DIN-rail / cased PSUs — Mean Well LRS-100 and LRS-200 series, suited to panel-built installs needing a regulated 12V rail.
• Multi-channel distribution boxes — 18-way fused boxes at 15A, 20A and 30A, plus a 16-channel 250W metal-cased 20A unit and a 5-port QVIS PTC-protected PSU, for spreading load across a full camera count from one box.
• Backup power — the CertaUPS C60-800 (480W/800VA) for surge protection and short-term runtime during mains loss, and an UltraTech UT-1270 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid battery for standalone backup.
• Other: a Raspberry Pi 5 official 27W USB-C supply for NVR/controller boards built on that platform.

How to choose

• Camera count — one or two cameras suit a single adapter; larger sites suit an 18-channel distribution box.
• Load headroom — match total camera draw against the box's fused amperage (15A/20A/30A) rather than running near the limit.
• Mains resilience — add a UPS or lead-acid battery where continuous recording during a power cut matters.
• Connector and voltage — confirm 12V DC output and plug type match your camera and recorder before ordering.
