Product Description
18-channel 12V DC power distribution box for multi-camera CCTV installs
This unit takes one 100–240V AC mains feed and turns it into regulated 12V DC, split across 18 independent output channels with a combined 20A capacity. It's built for jobs where a system has outgrown individual plug-top adapters per camera.
Why fit one of these
- Fault isolation — each channel carries its own PTC fuse, so a shorted cable or faulty camera on one run trips locally rather than dropping power to the rest of the site.
- Status checking — an LED per channel lets an installer confirm which outputs are live during commissioning or when fault-finding later.
- Physical security — the metal enclosure has a lockable front cover, suited to wall-mounting inside a comms cabinet, plant room or utility space where tampering needs to be controlled.
Where it fits in a system
Centralising power like this is standard practice on small-to-medium analog and HD-over-coax jobs — retail units, warehouses, small offices, residential blocks — anywhere you're running a bank of cameras back to one rack or cupboard rather than powering each one locally.
Compatibility
Suitable for 12V DC analog CCTV cameras, and HD-TVI, AHD and CVI cameras that run on 12V DC, plus other 12V security accessories. Confirm each camera's actual voltage and current draw before wiring in, and keep total load per channel and overall within the unit's rated output.
Note: if cameras flicker or drop image at night, check power delivery first — IR LEDs draw more current after dark, and a marginal supply or long cable run under load is a common cause.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the number of cameras this power supply can drive?
It has 18 independent output channels sharing a total of 20A, so up to 18 devices provided their combined current draw stays within that 20A rating.
What occurs if a camera or its cable develops a fault?
Each channel has its own PTC fuse, so a fault on one channel is designed to isolate that run rather than cut power to the others.
Will this work with HD-TVI, AHD or CVI cameras, not just analog?
Yes — it outputs regulated 12V DC, which suits analog, HD-TVI, AHD and CVI cameras and other 12V security devices, as long as they run on 12V DC.
