Product Description
A 1TB 3.5" SATA drive built for continuous recording rather than desktop use. The Seagate 1TB SATA Hard Drive for CCTV DVR, MPN ST1000VM002, is a Seagate Pipeline HD video drive designed for DVR and NVR storage duty, where the disk writes video around the clock instead of handling occasional file access.
Spindle speed is quoted as both 5900 RPM and 7200 RPM, so check the exact figure against the manufacturer's datasheet before specifying it against a particular recorder's throughput requirement.
