3TB - HDD 3.5" SATA Hard Drives - Ideal for 24/7 continuous recording

A 3TB 3.5" SATA hard drive specified for continuous CCTV recording, supplied fitted into your kit or package before dispatch.

Why capacity and drive type matter on a project

Continuous multi-channel recording writes to disk constantly, which is a heavier workload than typical desktop use. This drive runs at 7200 RPM over a SATA III interface, giving the speed and consistency needed to keep pace with several channels recording around the clock.

Compatibility

It's built to work with all DVR and NVR surveillance systems, so it fits into most existing CCTV installs without extra adapters. The same drive also works in desktops, servers, NAS devices, and external enclosures, which is worth knowing if the drive ever gets repurposed outside a CCTV setup.

Selection notes for installers

Match capacity to channel count, resolution and how long footage needs to be retained before it overwrites — more cameras and higher resolution both eat through 3TB faster. For sites needing longer retention or higher channel counts, plan storage per-project rather than assuming one capacity suits every install.
