Product Description
A 5m white Cat6 patch lead for the run between a camera drop, NVR, switch, or wall outlet on a trade install. Certified Cat6, supporting up to 1 Gbps data transfer at a 250MHz rated frequency — enough headroom for multi-camera NVR traffic and general network gear on the same install.
Key specs
- UTP (unshielded twisted pair) construction — 8 core, 4 twisted pairs
- Stranded conductors — 7 strands per core, for flexibility around trunking and cabinets
- LSZH (LS0H) jacket — low smoke, zero halogen
- Flush-moulded, snagless boots keep the connector slim while protecting the clip
- Each end has a bendable, strain-relieving moulded collar for added durability.
Where it fits
At 5m, this length suits a short cabinet-to-cabinet patch, an NVR-to-switch link, or a wall-port-to-device connection — measure the actual run before ordering, since Cat6 cable shouldn't be extended by joining lengths.
Selecting for the job
For retail units, offices, and residential block installs where camera runs terminate at a nearby switch or patch panel, this length avoids excess slack that needs managing in a rack or cabinet. Pair with longer Cat6 runs elsewhere on the same job for consistent cabling standards throughout the install.
LSZH jacketing is worth flagging on spec sheets for commercial fit-outs where cable smoke/halogen output is a building compliance consideration.

Frequently Asked Questions
What data speed does this cable support?
It's Cat6 certified, supporting data transfer up to 1 Gigabit per second (1 Gbps) at a 250MHz rated frequency.
Is this cable shielded?
No — it's UTP (unshielded twisted pair) construction, with 8 core / 4 pairs of stranded twisted wire.
Can I use this outdoors?
The listing states it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor usage, but check the actual run length and routing before installing.
What jacket material does it use?
It has an LSZH (LS0H) jacket — low smoke, zero halogen — relevant for commercial fit-outs with cable compliance requirements.
