Refine the range
Is there existing cable?Any
Network kits need a cable for each camera, whereas coax kits make use of the cable an older system left behind.
Level of detailAny
As a rule, a higher figure lets you zoom further into a recording.
Camera style
Six-camera kits bundle a 16-channel recorder, six cameras and pre-sized storage, so a mid-sized site can be specified from one part.
What the range covers
Kits mix turret and bullet cameras in 2MP, 4MP, 5MP and 4K grades, with 6TB, 10TB or 12TB of recording. Most are a 3 + 3 split of two camera types. Some use a 5 + 1 split, such as five 2MP turrets and one 4K bullet.
How to choose
- Resolution: The kit title names the camera grades, so "5MP – 4K" means 5MP and 4K cameras together. Put the 4K cameras on key views such as entrances, yards and car parks.
- Camera split: A 3 + 3 kit suits premises with two types of view. A 5 + 1 kit suits mostly uniform coverage with one higher-resolution position.
- Storage: Kits with 5MP and 4K cameras are specified with 12TB. Choose by how many days of footage the job needs.
6 Camera Kits — frequently asked questions
What does a name like 5MP – 4K mean in these kits?
It names the two camera grades supplied. For example, one kit has three 5MP cameras and three 4K cameras alongside a 16-channel recorder.
Can I add more cameras later?
Each kit uses six of the recorder's 16 channels, so ten remain free. Check the recorder's total bandwidth and storage before adding cameras.
How much storage do the kits include?
The range offers 6TB, 10TB and 12TB. The 5MP and 4K mixes with 4MP or 5MP cameras are listed with 12TB.
Should I choose turret or bullet cameras?
Turrets are compact. Bullets are more visible and are often chosen for longer outdoor views. Many kits here include both.
