What it's for
A 100m reel of external-grade Cat5e for running network and CCTV cabling outside a building — between structures, out to a wall-mounted AP, or down to an external camera enclosure.
Build
Four-pair UTP with solid pure copper conductors, specified to exceed ANSI/TIA Enhanced Category 5 requirements. Solid copper (rather than CCA) keeps resistance lower on long PoE runs, which matters when a camera or AP at the far end is drawing power over the same cable.
The outer sheath is black LDPE/PE, weather-resistant, suitable for ducted routes, building exteriors and catenary-supported spans — useful where a single reel needs to cover several install types on one job.
The 100m length carries metre marking along the jacket, which speeds up pulling to length and gives an installer a distance reading for fault-finding or certification later.

Compatibility

Correctly terminated across all four pairs, it supports 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, meeting Cat5e channel requirements for data, VoIP and IP video.
