Product Description
The Longse NVR3109S1P8 9CH 4K PoE NVR Recorder 8 Port PoE H.265+ Up to 8TB CCTV (SKU NVR3016E1P8) has eight PoE ports on the recorder itself, so each IP camera needs a single cable for power and data.
Where it fits
It suits smaller IP camera jobs, such as a shop, an office or a small unit, where up to eight cameras can plug straight into the recorder with no separate PoE switch in the cabinet.
Key specs
- 9 channels, 4K recording, H.265+ compression
- 8 × independent 100Mbps PoE ports with plug and play camera detection
- AT mode 30W per port, AF mode 15W per port
- 45W total PoE budget
- Extended cable mode for runs up to 200m, 45/78 line order
- Hard drives up to 8TB
Planning the install
Work out the PoE load before you finalise the camera count. The 45W budget is shared, so three cameras drawing 15W each would use all of it. Add up the real draw of every camera you specify.
For cameras at the far end of a site, extended mode covers runs up to 200m. Check the line order matches your cabling.
Handover note
Some units prompt for a password at first setup even though none was set. The default is 12345. Set up recovery details at commissioning so the end user is never locked out.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the default password for the Longse NVR3109S1P8?
The online manual lists the default password as 12345. It may not work if a password has already been set on the unit.
The NVR asks for a password on first setup and I never set one. What should I do?
A password can occasionally be set on a unit before it reaches you. Longse's official FAQ page (Support/FAQ/Recorder) covers the reset procedure.
Can I be locked out if no recovery email or security questions were set?
Yes. Some buyers could not use Forgot Password because no email or security questions were configured and the default password failed, so they needed support to resolve it.
