Product Description
This IP65 PVC junction box protects cable joints and terminal connections at outdoor CCTV, networking and general wiring points. It's a standard spec for camera runs and external distribution points on retail, warehouse, office and residential-block installs.
Note: the title and intro list dimensions as 110 x 100 x 45mm, while the detailed spec text on this listing gives 100 x 100 x 70mm — check the dimension that matters for your enclosure space before ordering, as the two figures differ.
Where it fits on a job
- CCTV cable runs: houses connectors, baluns or power joins at a camera drop or mid-run point, keeping the joint sealed rather than taped inside trunking.
- Networking infrastructure: a weatherproof point for patching or joining external Ethernet/PoE runs.
- Suitable for any indoor or outdoor junction that requires protection against dust and water spray.
Build and rating
- Material: PVC, chosen for weather resistance and structural strength without adding significant weight to a wall run.
- IP65 rated: protected against dust ingress and water spray — the relevant factor when specifying for an external wall, soffit or plant area.
- Adaptable design: no pre-cut glands; installers knock out or drill cable entries to match the gauge and number of cables on site.
- Sealed, accessible cover: keeps wiring protected day-to-day while remaining serviceable for future maintenance or fault-finding.
Colour is grey, for a low-visibility fit against most external cladding and trunking.
