IP Cameras: 2MP–12MP PoE Network CCTV Range

IP cameras form the backbone of most modern CCTV installs, sending digital video over network cabling (or Wi-Fi) rather than analogue coax. This range of 28 covers fixed turrets, bullets, domes and PTZ models, spanning 2MP to 8MP resolutions.

What's in the range:

• Fixed turret and dome cameras (2MP–6MP) for straightforward internal or perimeter coverage, several with EXIR 2.0 infrared and IP67 weatherproofing.
• Bullet cameras including Hikvision ColorVu and AcuSense models (4MP–8MP), some with motorised varifocal lenses (2CD2646G2-IZSU/SL) for flexible framing on site.
• A 25x Starlight IR PTZ for wide-area or car park coverage needing active operator control.
• Panoramic and dual-lens options (DS-2CD2T87G2P-LSU/SL, ANNKE I91DX) for entrances or wide frontages needing one camera instead of two.
• A Wi-Fi option (Bayit 720p) for simple retrofit or areas without network cabling.

How to choose

• Resolution vs storage — higher MP (6–8MP) suits identifying detail at distance; 2–4MP is often enough for general area cover and eases recorder storage load.
• Power method — most models are PoE, simplifying cabling to a single run; the Bayit unit is Wi-Fi only.
• Lens type — fixed lenses suit known distances; motorised varifocal models allow on-site adjustment during commissioning.
• Environment — IP66/IP67-rated bullets and turrets suit external walls and entrances; dome styles often suit indoor retail or office ceilings.
• Low-light needs — ColorVu and AcuSense models are built for better colour retention or detection in low light.
