Product Description
The Texecom AEA-0001 Veritas Impaq E is a wired vibration (shock) detector for early warning of forced entry on doors, windows and frames. It flags impact before an intruder actually breaches the opening, giving a control panel time to raise the alarm before the perimeter is defeated.
Where it fits on a job
- Retail units and offices — protecting glazed doors and window frames where forced entry is the main risk.
- Warehouses and industrial sites — monitoring roller shutters, side doors or equipment stores holding valuable stock.
- Residential blocks — perimeter doors and vulnerable ground-floor windows alongside standard contacts or PIRs.
Why it's specified
Sensitivity is adjustable on install, so engineers can tune the sensor to the frame material and expected vibration levels, cutting false alarms without losing genuine detections. Three LEDs (Detection, Disable, Comfort) let engineers verify operation and walk-test during commissioning, and engineer setup mode allows configuration specific to the site.
